Free on iTunes & GooglePlay, it lets you explore the remarkable story of houses that were floated from islands in Placentia Bay to Arnolds Cove, Newfoundland, in the 1960's. When you're in Arnolds Cove, GPS automatically triggers voices & images as you walk past resettled houses. When you're not there, you can tap the smartphone screen to hear the stories. Over 300 audio producers from 29 countries competed for recognition, so we're delighted that jurors gave the nod to this experiment in Bannerman Park, St. John's. Download the app and take a walk through the park this summer! ![]() The international PRIX MARULIC festival awarded our Bannerman Quartet their Special Achievement Award for New Media on the weekend. The annual Prix Marulic is a week-long audio festival held on the island of Hvar, Croatia, sponsored by HRT Croatian Radio. The 2016 festival featured drama and documentary works from 21 countries including Australia, China, Russia, UK, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Croatia and Norway. Congrats to writers Megan Coles, Joel Hynes, Sara Tilley and Michael Winter, performers Alan Hawco, Petrina Bromley, Joel Hynes & Lois Brown, composer Jake Nicoll and producer Chris Brookes. On iTunes and GooglePlay Way to go CarolAnn! ![]() The Bannerman Quartet has been invited to Croatia in May for the international Prix Marulic audio festival. It is the only Canadian work to be chosen, amongst 45 programs - 16 Documentaries, 15 Radio Dramas and 14 Short Forms - from 21 countries, for festival presentation. The festival takes place from May 21-28th.on the island of Hvar, Croatia.
